Sentrim Samburu Lodge

Sentrim Samburu Lodge is situated in Samburu National Reserve in Northern Kenya. The three National Reserves Samburu, Buffalo Springs and Shaba protect a large area along the seasonal Ewaso Nyiro River. Surrounded by interestingly shaped hills you will fall in love with this region. The semi-arid acacia – commiphora region is inhabited by elephants, buffaloes, cheetahs, lions and leopards. In this region you find the Northern fauna representatives: gerenuk, Gravy zebra, Reticulated giraffe, Beisa oryx, Somali ostrich and over 400 bird species.

Breakfast 6.30 a.m. – 9.30 a.m.

Lunch     12.30 p.m. – 2.30 p.m.

Dinner      7.30 p.m.  – 9.30 p.m.

Our guests are also welcome to enjoy bush breakfast served from 6.30 a.m. to 9.30 a.m. on request and at a fee. Enjoy our excellent collection of wines, beers and liquors at the main bar or the pool bar with a log fire next to it. The bar is open from 8.00 a.m. to 9.30 p.m.

Climate
Mainly dry with scarce rainfall mainly in the months of April, May and June with temperatures averaging 32°C during the day and 11°C at night.

Location
The lodge is on the banks of Ewaso Nyiro river, north of Isiolo in Samburu county that is known for different nomadic tribes.

Access
The journey from Nairobi passing Mt. Kenya takes about 6 hours by road and 1 hour by air.
