Safari Booking Terms

1. Booking Confirmation

A safari or travel package booking with Let the Adventure Begin becomes confirmed only after:

  • A booking request has been submitted

  • Availability has been confirmed by our team

  • A required deposit or full payment has been received

Once payment is received, clients will receive a written confirmation and itinerary via email.


2. Deposit Requirements

To secure a safari or travel package, clients must pay a non-refundable deposit, typically between 30% – 50% of the total tour cost, depending on the itinerary.

The deposit allows us to secure reservations for:

  • Accommodation

  • Transport

  • Park permits

  • Tour guides

  • Other logistical arrangements


3. Balance Payment

The remaining balance must be paid before the start of the tour.

Unless otherwise stated, the final balance is due 30 days before the travel date.

Bookings made within 30 days of departure may require full payment immediately.

Failure to complete payment may result in cancellation of the booking.


4. Pricing Policy

Tour prices may include:

  • Accommodation

  • Transport

  • Professional safari guide

  • Meals as specified in the itinerary

  • Park entry fees where indicated

Unless specified, prices may exclude:

  • International flights

  • Visa fees

  • Travel insurance

  • Optional activities

  • Personal expenses

Prices may change due to:

  • Currency fluctuations

  • Government tax changes

  • Park fee adjustments

  • Supplier price changes

Clients will be informed if any changes occur before confirmation.


5. Changes to Itinerary

While every effort is made to follow the confirmed itinerary, Let the Adventure Begin reserves the right to make adjustments when necessary due to:

  • Weather conditions

  • Road conditions

  • Park authority regulations

  • Safety concerns

  • Availability of accommodation

Any modifications will aim to maintain the quality and overall experience of the tour.


6. Client Amendments

If a client wishes to change their booking after confirmation, they must submit a request in writing.

Changes may include:

  • Travel dates

  • Accommodation

  • Number of travelers

  • Tour package

Amendments may incur additional charges depending on supplier policies.


7. Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be submitted in writing.

Typical cancellation terms may apply as follows:

Refunds are also subject to third-party supplier policies, including hotels and park authorities.


8. No Show Policy

If a traveler fails to appear for the tour without prior notice, the booking will be considered a no show, and no refund will be issued.


9. Travel Insurance

All travelers are strongly advised to purchase comprehensive travel insurance covering:

  • Medical emergencies

  • Trip cancellation

  • Personal belongings

  • Evacuation coverage

  • Travel delays

Let the Adventure Begin shall not be responsible for costs arising from lack of travel insurance.


10. Passports, Visas and Health Requirements

Travelers are responsible for ensuring they have:

  • Valid passports

  • Required visas

  • Vaccination certificates

  • Any required travel documentation

We recommend checking entry requirements with the relevant embassy prior to travel.


11. Accommodation Standards

Accommodation used in safari itineraries may range from:

  • Luxury lodges

  • Boutique hotels

  • Safari camps

  • Budget lodges

All accommodation is subject to availability at the time of booking.

Equivalent alternatives may be provided if the originally planned property becomes unavailable.


12. Special Requests

Special requests such as:

  • Dietary requirements

  • Room preferences

  • Accessibility needs

should be communicated at the time of booking.

While we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requests, they cannot be guaranteed.
